Human Bodies now open in Oviedo

Human Bodies The Exhibition opened its doors in the Asturian capital last Thursday May 7th at the exhibition hall Sabadell Herrero. Many members of the press and authorities attended this opening event of the exhibition in Oviedo.

Dr. Rafael Latorre, Professor of the University of Murcia and Scientific Director of the exhibition, assisted the journalists and guided all attendants though a special exhibit tour, revealing the different galleries of the exhibition.

Many representatives of the different supporting institutions took part in the event, such as Inmaculada González, Culture Councilor of the Oviedo Municipality; Miriam Cueto, General Director of Universities of the Asturian Government; Alfonso López, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Oviedo and Pablo Junceda, General Director of Banco Sabadell Herrero.

Agustín Iglesias, Mayor of Oviedo, was also able to attend to the final part of the event and visit the exhibition accompanied by Dr. Latorre.

More than 2.000 people have already visited the exhibition during these first two weeks and around 50.000 people are expected until October 25th, when the exhibition will close its doors on exhibition hall Sabadell Herrero.
